Dr. Tony Trpkovski
Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Trpkovski has more than 25 years of professional medical experience. He co-founded the very successful Doctors of Waikiki in Honolulu, Hawaii and has won numerous awards including the 2016 Best Physician by Best of USA as well as Best of Kauai in 2010 and 2011. Better known as Dr. T, his passion for helping patients led to the launch of NIU Health Urgent Care in 2020. His vision to leverage technological advances has created more accessibility for patients.
Dr. Paul Coelho
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Paul Coelho received his Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and later obtained his Doctors of Nursing Practice from Hawaii Pacific University. His medical specialties include cardiology, HIV/AIDS care management & prevention and urgent care. Throughout his career, Paul has held positions in organizational leadership as a manager for the University Clinics at Kaka’ako at the John A. Burns School of Medicine, and as clinical supervisor at Cardiology Associates Inc.
Vahid Ajimine
Chief Technical Officer
Vahid has a double major from the University of Hawaii at Hilo in Computer Science and Mathematics. He has done extensive work in Berlin, Germany in the gaming industry and specializes in publishing, prototyping to worldwide launch, with an emphasis on start-ups and buyouts. Vahid also does long term maintenance and scaling in established gaming industries.
Kristin Heinold
Chief Marketing Officer
Kristin has more than 20 years of experience in marketing and sales throughout Hawaii and on the mainland. She has been a copywriter, producer and sales executive for several television networks including KUSA-TV NBC in Denver, KXRM-TV FOX in Colorado Springs and KHON-TV FOX in Hawaii. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Journalism and Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a minor in French from the School for International Training in Toulouse, France. Kristin was Chair of the Southern Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce prior to making Hawaii her home.
Robin M Wentzel
Chief Financial Officer
Robin has spent the last 28 years providing accounting, tax and consulting services to a diverse group of clients throughout Hawaii. His strength lies in introducing finance related technology and automation as a means to level an often crowded playing field. Robin came to Hawaii via the US Navy where he was honorably discharged in 1989 and received his BBA in Accounting from the University of Hawaii in 1994.
Essam Abdelrahman
Chief Product Officer
With more than 15 years of high-tech and product development experience, Essam is responsible for NIU Health’s product management and strategy, product marketing functions, go-to-market functions, and partner ecosystem. Essam’s robust blend of product vision, natural leadership and business acumen consistently result in the advancement of powerful product strategies. Essam earned a Master of Computer Science from the University of Cairo in Egypt. He speaks fluent English and German; Essam has extensive experience working abroad.
